"CornerStore" chronicles one eventful hot summer day at a convenience store on Detroit's Six Mile Road. Owned by the Jenkins family, the store is operated by Earl, a handsome, middle class, father of his son Gerard, an aspiring chef, and daughter Gail, a fun-loving socialite. The eccentric customers are the real stars of this comedy. From winos to gangsters, thieves to neighborhood kids, a LOT can happen on the corner.
